conspiracy theory #234:

The MTA (New York City's subway transit company/association) sends special agents disguised as homeless people into specific subway stations late at night. Their mission is to wait until the train platform is empty then quickly destroy what they can (such as pipes and water protection) so that the MTA can justify raising fare prices a few times every year. Why else would it be raining about 40 feet underground?
